Docile Bodies is a ceramic sculpture project that explores the human body as both a vessel of personal identity and a symbol shaped by social conditions. Drawing from philosophy, social studies, and ancient mythologies, the project reflects on how individuals adopt roles based on their circumstances. Comprising 150 unique sculptures ranging from 10 to 20 cm, each figure features symbolic, primitive patterns and occasional texts—visual expressions of wordless thoughts and beliefs. Inspired by Paleolithic and Neolithic imagery, tribal art, and creation myths, the work celebrates diversity, individuality, and the shared human experience through intricate ceramic forms, textures, and colors.
